va gathering and MD rest stops

I cannot wait until the gathering. I too was going to try my hand at
an event stamp... I have finally started this carving thing and
REALLY like it! I am addicted. Are you allowed 2 event stamps for
the same gathering? *shrugs*

Also, I was traveling from VA to NJ today and got the two boxes at MD
rest stops : Pit Stop and Gas-n-go.

Feel free to carve, carve, carve! No one else has yet proposed an event
stamp and anyone is free to bring them - maybe we'll all pick it there and
get tons of "event" stamps!

--- At the Pocohantas Stae Park gathering we had 4 carved stamps. We
then voted (silently) for the best one. I thought they were all good
and deserved recognition. I like the idea of having many event stamps
for one event. Everyone views it differently. It's like going to an
art show and seeing how each individual views the same "vase of
flowers".
Carve away!

I think that sounds like a great idea and the more stamps we have, the more
we collect.
